About

"Images created with passion...." I've always had a passion for photography and I have always loved photography but I didn’t embark professionally until 2001. During the early days I learned the basics of the darkroom, shooting black and white film. There is something about seeing ones images come to life in the chemicals that gives me a real buzz. Something I still do today even though Digital has taken over the photographic world. I've shot close on 500 weddings during the last 11 years and still get as nervous & exited as I did when I first embarked on this fantastic journey!

In my first year of business I was commissioned to photograph Premiership and International Footballer Djibril Cisse in addition to carrying out a photo shoot for top car manufacturer Mercedes Benz. I've since gone on to photograph Kenny Dalglish(for Crocs Shoes), Amanda Harrington and David Gest, to name but a few, and I still don't get star struck!

I also cover designer fashion wear for leading on-line clothing site thedesignersalerooms. In any given day I can photograph over 100 items of clothing, footwear or accessories. Very hard work but very rewarding to see my images on their website, along with the comments I receive.

I love shooting weddings so much, I've always felt very privileged when undertaking wedding photography, after all, it is one of the most memorable & important days of your life! It’s got its rules and in some ways it’s a very orchestrated event, you know what’s going to happen, you know when people are going to do what, and yet you know nothing.

Every wedding is completely different, every couple adds something new to the mix. I love being there to capture their day and I hate being in the way. You won’t find me running around telling people what to do, hauling flashes and umbrellas from room to room, setting up shots I’m good at. However I will organise people as instructed to capture images that couples will have specifically requested. I always try and capture the events as naturally as they happen.

After all life isn't a rehearsal and neither should your wedding photographs be. I get one chance to get it right and strive to get that perfect shot.
